Big Agnes
At 20 years old, American Big Agnes is a relatively new brand within the outdoor world. Nevertheless, the brand has grown enormously. Especially their tents are seen as top products and they have won several awards. For example, the Ultralight Tiger Wall UL2 tent won the OutDoor Industry Award in Germany because of its outstanding inventiveness. Big Agnes uses a special dyeing technique for this tent (and others) that saves water and energy and ensures that 80% fewer chemicals are used. In 2014, Big Agnes also received this award once before. Then for the Fly Creek UL2 tent that was judged the best tent on the market for backpackers and lightweight trekking.
TENTS FOR BIKEPACKERS
Big Agnes also has an entire series of tents dedicated to bikepacking, the modern version of bicycle vacationing. These tents have tent poles that can be easily attached to handlebars, bike or saddle bags or simply take up little space in a bag. The footprints (groundsheets) allow for dry and dirt-free changing and storage of gear. The tents come in a waterproof storage bag that can accommodate multiple bike frame mounting configurations.
