Are you looking for speed? The new XC proposes a race ski with track geometries, ideal for attacking the track with any radius of curve, a combination of BlossomSkis race DNA and the best quality of materials. The technology used in XC reduces vibrations and increases cornering stability, a ski designed and developed for expert and demanding skiers.
Features
- An essential component of a sandwich ski, used in different thicknesses depending on the type of ski being manufactured.
- We place great importance on the development and distinctive character of the ski. We have researched different wood blends to give each ski different characteristics in terms of responsiveness, elasticity, and weight. The types of wood we use are: poplar, beech, ash, and paulownia.
- All Blossom skis are manufactured using sandwich technology, a production technique in which materials are placed over the wood core with lower and upper layers. This construction regulates longitudinal elasticity and torsional stiffness.
- The edges of our entire collection are made of steel. We have chosen an alloy that guarantees a higher hardness of 48 HRC to 52 HRC and offers maximum grip in all snow conditions.
- The coating material determines the appearance of the ski and its wear resistance. Each collection is renewed with new, innovative materials, maintaining a good balance between aesthetics and durability.
- This is an alloy of steel and aluminum specially developed for skiing. Together with the wood and fiberglass core, it is one of the most important components that determines the difference in performance between different skis, with different thicknesses being used: 0.4 – 0.6 – 0.8 or 1 determine the character of the ski.
- The base used by Blossom Skis is sintered with a high molecular weight, giving the ski maximum gliding properties.
