Fjallraven size charts

Men's clothing

Measuring instructions

To measure exactly which Fjällräven size fits you best, the first thing you need is a tape measure. It is best to ask someone else to take your measurements while you stand straight and relaxed without shoes. Try not to pull the measuring tape too tight, but also not too loose around the body. Avoid bulky clothing. For the most accurate results, have only your undergarments or close-fitting clothing on, such as a base layer.

  • Arm length: bend your elbow slightly. Then measure in centimeters the length from the center back of the neck to over the shoulder to the elbow and down at the wrist.
  • Chest: measure the circumference in centimeters straight under your arms around your body at the fullest part of your chest.
  • Waist: measure the circumference in centimeters around your waist at the narrowest part.
  • Hip: the circumference in centimeters of the widest part of your hip, standing with your feet hip-width apart.
  • Inseam: standing in an upright position, measure in centimeters the length from your crotch along the inside of your leg to the floor.

Fit

Fjällräven uses a total of four terms to describe the fit of its own clothes. In order from tight to loose fit, these are:

  • Next to skin fit: close-fitting cut to improve moisture management and thermal efficiency while providing plenty of freedom of movement. In this category you will find tights and base layer (the under layer) clothing.
  • Slim fit: close to the body. Fjällräven uses both stretch material and combinations of stretch and non-stretch material to give the freedom to move comfortably on during your adventure.
  • Regular fit: this type of clothing is designed to be extra versatile. That means they are not tight-fitting, making them ideal for seasonal use and multi-layering. Regular Fit garments are tight-fitting, with room for movement. Wear them with an under layer plus a thin mid layer for extra warmth.
  • Comfort fit of Relaxed fit: this loose fit provides breathability in warm conditions and overall freedom of movement. Clothing with this fit also easily fits over a thicker base and mid layer or pants when it's even colder outside.
